Dare 2 Dance – a show produced by SOL productions and hosted by Akshay Kumar. Now like we all know Akshay has hosted three seasons of Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi but Rohit Shetty took over the mantle for Season 5. To make things more interesting the production house devised a concept of mixing dance with action. They roped in Akshay as the host for the show.

We caught a few episodes of D2D, while the show was technically interesting, but somehow didn’t manage to impress or hook the audience. The show didn’t take off as expected. We got in touch of the host Akshay to find out the real reason behind the failure of the show. He said, “I think the opening of the show was okay. But it could have done much better. I personally feel that it went a little off because people did not quite associate with the ‘Dance and Action’ theme. It was closer to Fear Factor than dancing.”
